Volunteer Opportunities

The mission of the Volunteer Program is to enhance the life of Sunnyside residents through services rendered by Resident and Community Volunteers.  Our volunteers provide a vital link between the community and the residents. Many opportunities are available, allowing volunteers to share special talents and skills with residents. Most importantly, they share that precious gift of time.

Who can Volunteer?

Individuals, couples, groups (youth, civics, scouts, etc.), families with childrenFamily Volunteersand/or pets, and college students can volunteer at Sunnyside. The Junior Volunteer program allows teens over the age of thirteen to volunteer during the summer and throughout the school year. Many residents volunteer and find this a great way to get involved and give back to others in their own community. Whether you choose to volunteer for a one time special event or regularly, you can gain a sense of self-satisfaction that comes from reaching out to others.
